18 hole Biarritz Le Phare golf course is the second oldest course on the continent. Situated in the centre of Biarritz, le Phare is one of 10 golf courses in the area within a radius of a half hour's drive.It was created in 1888 by British residents. In addition to this, the town has a large circular golf range area on the border with Biarritz.

Due to the course being on the Atlantic coast, the climate is particularly mild during winter and not too hot during summer. Biarritz Le Phare offers excellent playing conditions, superb greens and a very playable course which is open all year round.The par 69 course of 18 holes is set over a distance of 5376m.

The Makila Golf-Club is a par 72 18 hole course, 6176m. long.
This natural site, established on rolling hills and valleys, through a forest of centuries old oak trees, was harmoniously designed by the talented American Architect Rocky Roquemore.

The Golf de Moliets is a remarkable golf course laid out in the pine forests of Les Landes (for 13 holes) and along the coast (5 holes).
While the more proficient golfer will find this a tough challenge, playing from the forward tees is funnily enough, often more conducive to error. The famous jagged bunkers are a remarkable form of defense for the greens, three of which are virtually blind, and the putting surfaces are neatly but never excessively contoured.
